Beta trust boundary

Alerts only. Official booking only.

Scree is independent and is not affiliated with BC Parks, Parks Canada, CAMIS, Stripe, Vercel, or reservation providers. It monitors public availability and sends official booking links. You complete every booking manually.

Who runs Scree

Scree is a small, owner-operated project run by Cody Gray, operating as Scree Alerts. During this manual beta, every approval, setup message, support reply, and refund is handled directly by Cody. If Scree incorporates later, the legal pages, payment records, and receipts will be updated together. Reach me any time at hello@screealerts.com.

What Scree will do

  • Watch a confirmed supported seasonal route/campsite scope and resource set.
  • Send exact dates, exact campgrounds/resources when available, and official booking links.
  • Run a test alert before a paid watch is treated as active.
  • Pause or refund when Scree cannot monitor the approved watch.

What Scree will never do

  • No auto-booking, cart holds, queue bypassing, resale, or reservation transfers.
  • No BC Parks or Parks Canada account access.
  • No guarantee that an opening will still be available after an alert.
  • No outdoor safety, emergency, route, weather, or trip-planning advice.

Refund boundary

  • Full refund if Scree cannot monitor your approved seasonal scope after payment.
  • Full refund if Scree fails because of setup error or avoidable downtime.
  • No refund just because another camper books first after Scree sends a valid alert.
  • No refund for missed or ignored alerts if Scree delivered them correctly.

Privacy and consent

Scree collects the minimum needed to run the beta: name, email, route/scope request, selected resources, support notes, consent timestamp, source page, and alert delivery records. Beta emails and alerts are limited to the watch you requested, setup, support, receipts, refunds, pause/cancel notices, and essential service updates.

You can ask to pause, cancel, unsubscribe, or delete beta request data by emailing hello@screealerts.com.

The beta may use Stripe for secure checkout, Vercel for the static site, Cloudflare Worker/D1 for waitlist intake, Google Sheets for operations, and an email provider for support and service messages.

Terms and privacy

Terms of Service · Privacy Policy · Refund Policy · Disclaimer

Those pages and this one together form the operating agreement for the beta: alerts only, no auto-booking, refunds as described above, and the privacy and consent terms in this section.
